I thought if I could find suitable Panels I could use them as the center and put quilt squares around it with a solid border.
I went to Joanne's the only place to buy fabric around here. What a disappointment. No Panels, no fabric with angels or peace doves.
Any ideas would be appreciated . Unfortunitly cost has to be considered . So if you have any ideas who sells panels, or suitable fabric Would love your ideas.
I have a embroidery machine BUT my machine doesn't do larger designs its a cheapie but a goody LOL!!.
I plan to enlarge a peace Dove our Hospice uses and applicate a large panel for one of the quilts. If it looks ok will make a couple with squares surrounding it. what do you Think.
PLEASE be honest. I want them to bring peace to the families
    THANKS
    Debbie

Mark, so sorry that i offended you, by saying to cover the prayer. It was just a thought that might help her to use the fabric.

I've seen some of the on-line fabric shops have categories that list panels -I look at all categories and I don't remember which ones but I seem to remember 1 or 2 sites with Doves also you could narrow your search to Religious themed fabrics. Also Christmas fabrics, Its a wonderful thing you are doing for Hospice families They were with us in our home for my dearly missed Husbands final days They are all Angels

I would not cut out the prayer. I have always found it to give me peace and serenity. Perhaps some of the patients' families will have the same reaction.

I was at hospice yesterday and took pictures. Was thinking of making a few with the dove symbol they use. Haven't appliqued alot but I can learn. My son has a projector that I can enlarge the design.
Have to start writing everyone's idea down and get organized.
Today Looks like I'll have some free time to get my brain working.
Thanks everyone for your help and of course would love all ideas.
