    lol that answered that..... I just watched a video for making the "Super size nine patch" from what I watched I would only be using 3 fabrics.

    That would be MY pick. Such a pretty pattern and BEAUTIFUL fabrics. I am sure anything would be gorgeous with those fabrics. Be sure to post a picture when done.

    I just done a few with 4-patch with an alternating solid. They were easy and turned so cute.

    I make quilts for Project Linus & that's a pattern I've used for them. I think it's on the Quiltmaker web sit (or I have the .pdf if anyone wants it). I love it!

    Do any of you make a drawing of your quilt before cutting and if so what do you use to do that?

    I like to use the Yellow Brick Road patten for a QUICK baby quilt. I also like to throw in some texture blocks, such as Chenille, or crinkle block, or even have thrown in a few flannel block..... it give the quilt more texture and babies like feeling things...
