Hi, my name is Sulema, I live in Northern California and I really enjoy reading the Quilting Board (it has so much info). I have a question and I just know someone will have the answer. I need a quilting pattern called "Fractions" and although I did find something on an earlier message board the link didn't work. Help.

Hi Sulema, welcome. I too live in N. Calif. I believe I have this pattern and would be willing to trade for a different pattern. If interested, send me a PM.

This is a really simple pattern. Make a 4 patch that becomes 8.5 by 5.5 and put a 2 inch sashing on each of the long sides. you end up with an 8 inch(finished) 8.5 inch raw block. turn one horizontal and the next vertical and keep going until the quilt is the size you want. I did an adaptation of this pattern (didn't make 4 patch) in my dinosaur quilt. See it at : http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-164407-1.htm#4597017
