When I did this pattern, I did the background in the white, and the blocks in a patterned fabric. For the back, I reversed it. patterned fabric for the back and white for the blocks. Totally different look.

It looks like all sides should be made like bottom right and top left sides.

It is beautiful! I like all the toppers shown. I printed out the instructions for the star one to put in my To-Do List. LOL

Upper right,top, bottom left, and bottom in this picture, has the small triangles stitched in between the hexies instead of at the outside of each hexie, and bigger triangles in between. That is why four sides don't match the first two finished sides. I hope I made this clear enough to follow PM me if not and I will try to explain better.
sometimes the easy answers boggle the best of us. Lol!
