I have recieved a lot of sample of fabrics. I would like to make a simple throw out of them. I didn't really want to do a crazy quilt.

Do you have any ideas for a simple quilt? thanks

Square in a square. I saw one at a friend's house that had blocks of sharply contrasting colors sewed together, with smaller squares of other contrasting colors appliqued to the middle. She said that her young son had "designed" it so she did it as he wanted. Washed well and will most likely last long enough to go off to college with him.

Go to Quilter's Cache. They have lots of free block patterns. There are several snowball and snowball designs.
