First of all, without knowing the amounts of each of the fabrics, it's hard for us to know what patterns would be appropriate.

Being that you don't want small pieces ...
you could choose your piece size and make a dramatic Trip Around the World!

That being said, the smaller the piece the lovelier the quilt! IMHO

I would do tumbling block. You could do the easier version with HST instead of set in seams. I would pair the two oranges with the brown then the magenta/purple group. You had a light medium and dark of each color family. It would make a stunning TB.

Look up Belfreybat 6 hour quilt in main and my thread it has an upturned thumb rail fence with a difference. This quilt is quick and very easy and all you need is black.

What about the "Joseph's Pinwheel" that was in Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting May/June 2011? I think it was on one of their TV segments, too. It had several brights in a pinwheel against a background of dots in each block, solid sashing, and a bright patterned border.
