I think that is a very kind thing for you to do! I try when I can, and want to do more, but I lost my job in April, so things are a little snug.Glad you can help some fellow quilters out!

There is really no 'pay it forward' section that I know of. I think the individual post could be put in the Main or the Classified. There are several posts. This is the primary one: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-45265-1.htm
You mentioned you don't post very often and related that to selling in the Classified. I wanted to assure you that our Admin and moderators have other ways to know if you are an active member of the board. If you did want to sell something please pm Admin or any of the moderators. They can make an exception. Or you could say hello to 20 new members and your title will change to 'regular user'. Then you could sell too.
So nice to visit with you and it is nice for you to share with others.

Do the moderators have ways of enabling people to send items anonymously?

That is so very kind of you! I know that I was so grateful to receive a gift from a member of this board after posting a request to buy some materials for hand quilting. It will mean so much to someone. I hope to be able to pay it forward soon myself!

How great of you to share fabric. I sew for a group called Threads of Hope, all quilts are donated to the hospitals for babies. Yes sometimes we get a bit carried away and make larger ones however they go to the hospitals or quilts of valor. we donate our time and ask for donations. we meet once a month to sandwich the quilts, tops are made in our homes, today we sandwiched 30. We would appreciate any you may wish to give. Thank you. Joan Olson
