That is one pretty quilt! Don't be so hard on yourself. I didn't find anything to pick on!

"pellon Quilters Grid paper on point "821" is similiar to Pellon iron- on interfacing but it has 1' squares like graph paper. It allows you to make quilts on point. Easily???? I cut 5" squares placed them on the paper in the squares and left 2" between each square for sashing. Heat is then applied to fabric on paper and fabric is supposed to stick to paper. You then fold fabric/paper right sides together and stitch 1/4" seams. The paper is not removed but it does not make the top too heavy. Having the squares printed on th4e paper made laying out the blocks and putting in the sashing easy. My problem was that alot of the fabric did not "stick" like it should have and kept coming up so that I had to pin fabric making it very hard to sew. I even called Pellon and they told me how to bond it but I still had problems. Maybe I had bad paper or perhaps it was the finish on the fabric. Don't know. I was very frustrated but I finished the top and really like it. Tricks? don't have any. If you try using the paper and have good luck let me know your tricks. Pattern was "And you point is" by Lisa Maki for "Crooked Nickle Quilt Designs". I made another quilt using this pattern/techniques and had the same problem. Good luck!!!!!!!!

Beautiful quilt, and I didn't see any "happy accidents".

Very pretty. Didn't see anything wonky at all. I haven't tried the Pellon yet, though I have some. I thought the whole point to the Pellon grid was to make it easier
