    Default Pfaff select 3

I'm a bit of a machine addict and I've just come accross an ex-demo Pffaf Select 3.0 IDT at a price that's right for me.

I'm interested in it because of the IDT. None of my current machines have a dual feed feature.

Can anyone give me any feedback on this particular machine please? I've googled for reviews but nothing much has come up.

I would primarily use it as a piecing machine.

    Many thanks! SB

When thinking about buying a machine I check out http://sewing.patternreview.com/

You have to sign up, but it is free and it has so much information all through the site. Just click on sewing machine reviews.

I don't have that particular Pfaff, but I have a Pfaff Expression 2.0 that I love. My sister has two Pfaffs, one over 20 years old that is her main machine. Can't go wrong with Pfaff....personal opinion here.

If the Select 3.0 is one of the first ones made in China, I'd sew on it first. I tried a couple of the earliest ones and they weren't really smooth like the low end euro models. Later ones probably improved.

If you can, take some fabric and piece on it. I have an older Pfaff and the IDT is great.

You need to go and test drive one of these models before you buy it to make sure it is the DSM for you and fits all your needs.
