I agree with Jan. Doing a white border first should make the blocks with the sashing like you have now, stand out and look great. I'd think about doing a 1" white, then a 1" green, then another 1" white, then the pink. Doing too big of a border first can be distracting, and your blocks are too pretty to distract from them.

What I do when I am unsure about a border. I lay the fabrics, in the order I am thinking about using them for the border, under the outer edge of the pieced top and take a picture with my phone. Seeing the quilt on my phone is like being able to step back about 10 feet and seeing what the whole concept will look like. Sometimes, what looks good while I am just standing there up close, looks not so good on the phone. I do this until I get the look I want and then go with it.

Why don't you post some pics with borders like you are considering and let us look?

Personally, I think you need something dark and really narrow to frame. I would use the scrappy sashing in the first picture, then audition a 1/2" or 1/4" border the same color as the dress forms, then go with the pink. It may be too much, but I would at least hold the audition!

I'd use the turqouise & pink print in the next-to-the-bottom right.

I also vote for a white inside border with the pink as the outside border. Cute quilt!!

I think Jan's idea is nice but I also really like Barb in Louisiana's thinking. I love the soft teal color of the block 3 down & 3 over. If it were me I'd probably sneak a tiny inner border 1/4" of that in first and maybe even bind it with the same. Really cute quilt!

I suggest a small white border all around and then a pink border. Love your blocks
