Paper piecing a pineapple quilt is the way to go for me.

I love your block. I read Jo Kramer's blog and she is working on a pp Pineapple block made from scraps. Her pattern is Bonnie Hunter's so you might go and look at her site. I think your block turned out great. Good luck.

That’s a pretty little black. I didn’t know they made a ruler for the pineapple block.

Very pretty block! I've been wanting to try that one on crazymomquilts blogspot, "how to make pineapple block without paper piecing", and no special ruler needed. Went to library and printed it out because my printer broke, just haven't had a chance to try it yet, toooo many things I want to try! LOL!

I prefer to post images without the patch lines showing. That's a little more complicated. First I go to Print Setup, and choose my .pdf printer as the default printer. Then I print the quilt to a .pdf and save it. Then I open the .pdf in Photoshop and save it as a .jpg.
oh, ok.....thank you for the tip!!

Peckish I love this design. I wish I could get EQ7 but not possible right now.
My Mom wants a quilt made all in shades of lavender, lilac and purple.
Would you do this design in those colors for me so I can see what it would look like?
Then I could see if she likes it before I make one.
I would appreciate it very much.

    Ask and ye shall receive....

For the best effect, step back from your computer screen. Let me know which one you like best and I'll post the individual block so you can see how it's constructed, color-wise. All I did was move the colors around.

By the way - it took me all of 10 minutes to create all of these in EQ and adjust them in Photoshop. That's how awesome EQ is.

Peggi, these are all so AWESOME!!! I like the second one down the best. But since it's for my Mom I'd like to see which one she likes best. Unfortunately, I won't see her until the end of June. She lives 300 miles away and I can't get her to join the world of computers for email, etc. I even bought her a tablet and she gave it to my brother. She thinks she's "too old" to learn something new. I told her there's people 10 years older than her emailing, on facebook, etc. Would it be a huge pain to send me each block? Thank you sew much!!
