Pineapples by Karin Hellaby

All the traditional Pineapple log cabin blocks are paper pieced. I looked on littlefoot website and their pineapple patterns are paper pieced. DoJo is the pattern you used the off set Pineapple pattern? It was the only one for $10.

I think this maybe what you are looking for. I've made a couple of these - I saw them at a quilt show in Pomona, Calif last spring and it was gorgeous, but their pattern was paper pieced which I haven't attempted that yet. There is a specially marked ruler for this (mine is by Nancy Smith & Lynda Milligan) called the Pineapple Rule. They are time consuming at first but I would think that once you got the hang of it they would go together much faster. I've only done two but I'm planning on doing a couple more for a table runner.

Your quilt is gorgeous, especially the color combination. Thank you for sharing.
