Aunt Ralfie, I love the way you used the 3D pinwheels. I really like them but have thought that they wouldn't make a very good quilt but using them for an accent is really a good idea. You know those corners will come to be the babies favorite part of that quilt.

I vote no on sashing. I like the contrast btween the light and dark backgrounds and think the sashing would take away from that. Love your block inspector although they do have a tendency to lie down on the job.

Everybodies pinwheels are beautiful. Today I workked om some of my embroidered blocks to insert into the quilt. So many of you are way beyond me. I have finished 40 of expected 72 blocks I want to do.

It looks beautiful the way it is. Your inspector thinks so too.

Love the fabric & style of your pinwheels.A lot of movement there.I'd go with it as is....no sashing, but it's your quilt.

I'm not liking my pinwheels. Was trying to use up 5" charms, but didn't realize I had so many dreary colors in them.Mine will serve as a table topper.Next time ,a diff style & way diff colors.

I love it the way you have it. I see you went the "intricate" way instead of the quick and easy way like many of us did.
