Oh, I like that. I love the border. How did you do that?[/quote]

It started as a mistake ! I took my squares and sewed around the edge - the other method (I was doing the parallel semas along the center diagonal) and when I cut the X - my 1/4 were way too small. . . so I decided to string them along and use them on the outside ! I didn't want to waste and they were perfectly fine - just the wrong size !

Good job, David! Obviously you have more pink in your stash than I do.

That's funny! I was looking at my pinwheels and thinking grandson so took out the pink and purples! At his age he doesn't do pink and purple! Not willing to acknowledge his feminine side yet! He's 12.

Well, I got 12 more made today for the next QFK. I made 2 stars for soldiers yesterday and want to make a few more. I had to do some pant alterations for a friend so that set me back on quilting. My June Tailor Shape Cut Pro and Shape Cut Plus came today so I am excited to try them out. Trouble is my cutting mat in my little sewing room isn't big enough for the Shape Cut Pro. Oh, my I guess I will just have to get another mat  Time for my bubble bath to rest my aching back. Enjoy your evening everyone.
