Mary O- what a great top!

Finished up 10 of each of these last night, I only have 10 more to go for a total of 70 and from there, assembly.

Okay...My son is getting married on the 23rd (15 days!!!) I have been very busy with the wedding. I made them a large quilt which I previously posted pictures of and am currently working on a photo quilt which I will post pictures of when complete.

Somewhere in the midst of all that, I have "completed" one pinwheel top. (Okay...it still needs borders...) Here are a few pictures. I cut out enough blocks to make two of these and plan to use a green cornerstone on the next. I thought the yellow bees fabric would be cute since I used several floral fabrics, but am not 100% happy with the overall effect, but I think the green will be great.

When the wedding is done, I have several tops I plan to get quilted, including this one.

I like the yellow bees and I think the effect is good. Adding the border will make it even better. Hope the wedding goes well and I wish them a very happy life. Looking forward to seeing your quilting projects ATW...(after the wedding).

Well, I was playing with my Go! fabric cutter last night and made 4 more pinwheels. They were 5" squares - ugh! I hand sewed the first two triangles together B/C my legs were swelling & I needed recliner time. Not nearly as much fun as the 7" blocks. I cut out a b u n c h of the 5" HSTs and now I guess I'll have to finish them - sometime.

I finally got a few free minutes at work to send a picture of the fm quilting I'm doing on my pinwheels. I hope you can make it out, it's kind of a swirl in each blade, with a squiggly line in between each blade.
