I took some time yesterday to find my box of pinwheels project. Found that I do not have nearly enough of my 5' blocks ready to go but will sew what I have of them. I did find a whole charm pack of 4" blocks so think I will start them and try the sewing around the edges way and see if it goes faster. Will just make that one whatever size it turns out. I will do each pinwheel the same color on it whereas my already begun one is 4 sections of different colors on each block. In the meantime, I will search through scraps and find stuff to make some more 5" blocks. Yikes..here I go starting something else but if I get one of them finished by the deadline, I will be happy as it will be one less thing not sitting on the shelf. Will post progress pics when there is something to show you.

I think I will join too. I was going to try to finish a couple projects before I started another, but what the heck. DH would agree with my first thought - to wait. He says I have too many started now, but I just can't help myself. I just need to keep my mouth shut and not mention it.

I did a dry - -first run with my Vagabond last nite. Sewed four pinwheels.

I have to figure out how many thicknesses of adapters I need to adapt it to the accuquilt Dies while I wait for my sizzix ones to get here.

I will do the sew around method and compare both.

I have a lot of charm packs and would like to use some up.

We sure have a great group ready to go!

Not sure what an adapter is for? What's a vagabond? Do you use sizzix dies on your Go cutter? I'm kind of lost :)

Thanks so much PlainPat. Not going to get much sewing done today it's my youngest daughters birthday and plan on taking both days off work to go see her snd my other children. She lives back home in Michigan and I am a transplant to Indiana about 2 hours drive. Hope I can catch up with you all.

Sorry to take a while to answer, but I wanted to give you the correct website for a demo of the Vagabond.

    To see a demo:

Type in your Google (or other search):

    sizzixvagabond

then when the search choices come up, go down the list (about ten listings) to:
    -----------------------------------------------------------
I Have A Notion: IHAN Goes Ape over the Sizzix Vagabond
    ------------------------------------------------------------
You should get the video that demos it with fabric.

There are other videos show using it with felt, even thin board. It is reall amazing!

I will be glad to answer any questions anybody has about this cutter - I think it is a pretty new concept - created by Tim Holz (you can google him and get more Videos).

It is the only Electric cutter and does fabric really well.

I also know where you can get it for 35% off if you are interested.
