Default Playing with the Go!

Here is my first foray into playing with the Accuquilt Go! that arrived on my doorstep. These arrangements are just from playing with the scraps on my cutting table. There is no rhyme or reason to the coloring in the first arrangement.

This is the same block, but separating the warm colors from the cool. Nothing except the HST are sewn together yet, as I am still just playing around. The Go! is really fun for cutting up scraps, and the HST are the main reason I wanted the cutter. So fast, easy and accurate. I think I'm going to like this gadget for HST making alone. DH got an awesome dinner last night for buying me this tool when I wasn't even sure I wanted it.

I was thinking that the block would make a great baby blanket or charity quilt. I like the top one best!

The chaos appeals to me as well ;-)

The blocks were done with the 2-1/2 inch die. The 4-1/2 inch die would be perfect for a single circle baby quilt.

That looks like a lot of fun - may have to think about this great toy! Like what you did with it.
