I've never seen that one before, it looks like one from JoAnn's except the shelves. I really like the looks of it. I've had
my table from JoAnn's for years and I'm very happy with it. My husband recently put piano hinges on it to make it sturdy again, it had gotten to where it was uneven over the years from using it for garage sales and other things.

I would go to Sams and buy those white tables they have. They are sturdy, they have round and all lengths of tables. They are sturdy and I love them. I have 1 round, 2 medium and one of the small ones I keep my printer on. I bet you could have several for what that cheapest table costs. It sure doesn't look sturdy at all. That's a lot to pay for something that may just fall apart.

I agree it looks very similar to one sold by Joann's. I had the plain cutting table one, but it wasn't all that sturdy. After awhile, since the top is only pressboard and the table was in a small space where I was moving it around a lot, the screw holes stripped out and it got wobbly. I switched to an a dining room table that I put up on bed risers.

Try looking for an old dining room table. You can get bed risers at different stores.

So far so good. I've only had it a couple weeks. I wish it had more storage though.
Wow that one is very nice, and for the price if I had the extra money I would jump on that one too!! Nice find : )

Thank you! I caught it on 50% off & it became a late Christmas gift. He finally got tired of me being stretched out on the kitchen table all the time, so he told me to take the corner of the quest room. I think I've actually taken over the guest room though!

I have one from JoAnn's for years. I like it for the cutting and ironing mats. I have mine next to a wall and it stablized it some for cutting. I also like that I can put one of the leafs down and just have a little over half for use. Also I got it with a 40% coupon. The mat and ironing top too.

I have one very similar... from Hancock Fabrics, years ago. I never used it much as it is wobbly and lightweight. For instance, you can't put any kind of heavy load on it, or lean on it too much. For that amount of money, I would keep looking. You may be able to find a good sturdy table at a flea market or Craig's list for less than half of what they want for that "craft table".

I have one like that from Joanne's. Mine has the shelves also. I find it very sturdy as a cutting table but definitely NOT for sewing. It is not rock solid and does have some movement when shaken. I chose it because I have limited space and am very pleased with it. I usually keep one extension Open for cutting, but on occasion open both extensions for laying out a quilt. It is very easy to fold down both extensions and move the table--even into another room. It is very versatile and portable. If that is what you are looking for, you will probably be very pleased with it. I do think the price is high. I got mine on sale at Joanne.com for about $160 with FREE SHIPPING.
