    As others have said the secondary pattern without the sashing is really teriffic. I think if I opted for the sashing I might choose another color.

    I am a sashing gal, so that is my choice but I have seen quilts made both ways. Do you have scraps that could be used for the sashing? To me that would make a difference. If I had to go out to buy sashing... well I might just go without the sashing and reveal in the fun of my scraps.

    I like both. Kind of depends on who it's for. Depending on what color sashing you use will bring out that particular color that can be found in the quilt. Without the sashing looks like an illusion quilt which is what I'm looking for to make for my granddaughter. Really like it either way.
