Talking I just bought my first machine... :)

I'm so excited!!! I was looking to buy my very first sewing machine and I found one on Ebay last night that just seemed to be calling to me. After several tense minutes (for me at least ) of back and forth bidding I finally won the auction. It's a Morse model 4700 "zig-zag" (early 70's I think) that appears to be in excellent condition. It comes with a zipper foot, foot pedal, bobbins, and the original carrying case and manual. I'm hoping to have it here within about a week or so. If anyone has any experience with one of these (hopefully good) please let me know. Thanks for reading!

I have a Morse a tad older than the one you bought and the stitching quality is awesome. Morse is a sturdy and well built machine. You will love it. I have quite a few vintage machines. A couple I would part with. My Morse is a keeper!

Congrats! It is so exciting to win an auction of a machine that calls you. It sounds like it is a good machine.
