Ok, I figured it out! There is a line on my machine, on the bobbin cover. It's 1/4 inch. My teacher told me I have a 1/4 inch foot, so I've been sewing to the edge of my foot, not the line! I have a picture if I can figure out how to post it.

But still make sure your seam allowance is the consistent. I had (still have) trouble with my seams being scant 1/4 inch and had some wavy seams trying to get my points. Had to really work on those seams! Good luck with yours.

Thanks for the tutorial! The pictures sure help. And all the advice!

I'm going to go sit on the couch and rip out everything I have done and start all over again.

Thanks to everyone again! I can't believe how nice you all are and how fast you all reply! Thank you!
