I love the hand quilting part of making a quilt. So relaxing. My least part is matching corners which is why I do mostly hand applique. Very forgiving.

Piecing is my favorite part.

I enjoy all aspects of quilting, but my favorite part hands down would be the gifting of the quilt or the first time I snuggled under a quilt I made for my own use.

Planning it is probably my favorite, then piecing, and then binding. I love the binding step.

1st is buying the fabric
2nd is the piecing
3rd is the binding because then it's close to being finished. haha

Favorite part - picking a pattern and finding fabrics then its time for fun. I don't have a least favorite part.

I’ve thought for a few days about this question. I love the whole process of making a quilt. I think the part I love the most is how I feel while at my sewing machine - which is usually happy. I like puzzles, so putting a quilt together feels like a big jigsaw puzzle to me.

I love your answer! I've also been thinking about this and I feel the same. i find myself humming to myself as I sew. Sewing is so therapeutic! And then I love to sew on the binding...another therapeutic action. When I'm finished I can do a happy dance.

Love choosing the fabrics but, finishing the top and hand sewing the binding are my favorite parts!

Definitely piecing, sandwiching the quilt is my road block. I have to really press on to get that done.
