Default Pool noodles again with pvc

I bought some pool noodles at the dollar General and the inside was an inch. I went to home depot to get some wood dowels and they only come in 48' length. The pool noodles are about 68". So I got some 1" pvc cut 65" and that fits good. If I have a quilt that is bigger then 58" wide I am going to buy 2 more noodles and cut them in half and add 29 inches to my 58" ones and push the seam of the pvc added piece into the noodle. Then I can take apart or add on depending how big the quilt is. Put it on one or two long tables and use like the video shows.

I have pvc piping in my noodles too! DH had a lot of lengths in his shop left over from some project or other. He hasn't even missed them yet. LOL

Smart! I will be returning my dowl-rods I bought yesterday as they are too small. Maybe I'll look at the PVC pipes instead.

Conduit is cheaper than pvc pipe. Pipe insulation is an alternative to pool noodles if you can’t find them.

I have another (not quilting) idea for pool noodles. My cats always manage to knock their toys way under the console in the living room. So I cut some pool noodles to the correct length and scooted them under the front edge of the console so no more toys go under. Saves my knees!!
