I like them all and agree that they would all work for OBWs. My personal faves are the purple roses - I think you'd get a really beautiful quilt out of that with the light and dark purples and the green for extra interest. Also the parrot one, I think would be really striking and I love the way that with fabrics featuring animals or birds, you get little glimpses of beaks, eyes etc here and there. So, how many have you made already? LOL

I will start off with a few I have in my stash.
Oh my gosh! ALL those are so beautiful. Wish they were mine. Don't have an answer for your quilt: just admiring the fabrics. :-)

I can't stop looking at the purple roses and picturing like a water color quilt with the lightest shade radiating from the center out! Please, please tell me the name of that fabric! I am in total fabric envy here!

Love the sparkle and the blue flowers I have and will be using for a tote bag.

I just checked for you and the selvage shows that it is an exclusive Joann's fabric. I can not tell you how long I have had it. Maybe a couple of years. I know I have not seen it recently. I can not find a name. Maybe if you print the picture you can take it into the store and some one will know. Good Luck.

I personally would choose one of the bird fabrics. They are big prints with lots of color variation and no hard lines.

The reason that I wouldn't choose fabric 1 - is that there isn't enough color variation. Love the fabric, but not sure you'll get the traditional OBW effect.

Again with the pink - I don't think there is enough color variation.

The sparklers don't feel right - can't explain that one. But you never know - that could be a good contender.

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth. Love to see what you do regardless :)

All of your fabrics are very suitable for a OBW. Personally, I'd choose ones that have more colors in them than fewer. Your resulting hex's will be more varied then. Check out my avatar - that's a tropical bird fabric. The Sparklers fabric might turn out to be quite a lot like it originally is, with a quick look, since the print is already an exploding firework. I'd also suggest to use the hinged mirrors to see the possible hexs you might get. Hold it open so you see 6 images in it and slide it slowly along the width of the fabric. You'll be amazed and get so excited of what's to come! Enjoy!

I never have enough fabric on hand for a OBW, so I had to go out and buy 6 yards not really knowing what was going to look the way I wanted it to look. I would love to see some of your OBWs and a sample of the fabric before it was cut. I can't seem to get a handle on "seeing" the designs before cutting and setting together.

Love your rose fabrics by the way.
