Potato Bags - What else do you use them for??
#2
i just made a few of them also. they say you can do corn on the cob and heat dinner rolls in them also. i am curious to see what else you can do. my sister went to the quilt show in columbus this past weekend and said the big thing was corn bags. i also saw a pattern last night (and of course forgot to book mark it lol) where the potatoe bag was shaped more like a wine bag(?) and tied at the top, there was also a corn one that looked a candy cracker (?) holder.

I make and use my potato bags. I learned the hard way to use 100% cotton fabric and the batting made for tater bags. I use them all the time for potatoes, tortillas, reheating muffins and rolls. Use for anything you heat up in the microwave. They also double for hot pads on the table.

Patty48 that's a great idea.
hobbykat1955 - as long as it's made out of all cotton (fabric, batting and thread) you shouldn't have any problems.
Also, guess I'll have to try the corn idea - sounds yummy.
Thanks all for your suggestions.
