So beautiful the prairie points give such a lovely dimension to it. I bet they will do fine.

beautiful quilt. Alas I have to tell you the prairie points will wrinkle some. You may try a fabric softener in the wash. If it still does not suit try a light touch with the iron. I put prairie points on pillow case and dresser scarf, plus around my favorite table cloth. My kids tell everyone Mom went crazy with the prairie points.

I have a question for all. I have made prairie points before, so I know how to make them, but I have never put them on a quilt. I am planning to do so on the quilt I am currently working on. They will be in rainbow colors. I have a question to pose for all. Has anyone ever made pp and put interfacing in them to help them hold their shape after washing, or do you think this might work?

For Gerbie

I don't think it will hurt, but would use an iron on.

As with many interlocking block patterns, this one is deceptively easy. Nancy Page offered this block in a newspaper advertisement in the 1930's for "three cents and a self addressed stamped envelope."
I found this reference to this pattern on the internet. Amazingly it doesn't look "deceptively easy". Ann in TN
