I have a quilt my Aunt made a very long time ago and the prairie points are still beautiful.

I have several I've done with prairie points and washed, they all look just fine. If you've used fairly nice cotton, it is soft enough that it should wash well.

I love 30's fabrics with lots of white, prairie points are a very nice finish. Glad all came out OK in the wash!

I'm gonna try and post a picture of the quilt because I'm really happy with the way it looks....crossing my fingers that this will work!

This is the experience I've had with prairie points. They become a little less pointed with wash AND with use, but not so much I found it bothersome. Yours look like they are interlocked, and unfortunately, I have found that way of constructing them to be less stable than when you just overlap them. And the size plays a part in how they hold up. The smaller they are, the more stable they are. Your quilt is lovely!! Hope the points DON'T give you problems!

I've done several things with prairie points and haven't had any problem with them wrinkling. I think it will depend on the fabric quality. Your quilt is gorgeous! Looks so springtime!
