You could have the pattern enlarged to the size you want (Kinko's, etc). Just guessing but couldn't it be done with an iron-on foundation? Enlarge the pattern, place it under an iron-on piece like the interfacing with bumps of glue, some have grids (add pieces to make the size. The cover quilt looks like it could be done in sections.) Use the enlarged pattern to get the size of the piece, cut your pieces, iron pieces onto foundation, iron on bias tape to cover "seams", then you don't have to sew because the tape covers the edges, and the tape can be used to attach the sections, or/and iron one section of foundation to another then do the tape thing. Top stitch the tape edges will be the only sewing and you could do that after you sandwich the quilt and that would be you quilting. Hope I described it well enough. Sounded good in my head!

Those are beautiful designs and quilts!! Now I want to make one, thanks.. lol

Sorry, I just realized I kind of hijacked the thread from the original author. Got so excited about seeing those quilts and commented on someone else's reply!

Way back, before I joined here, I remember seeing a great photo of someone's quilt inspired by FLW houses. I haven't done the search for you, but somewhere in the archives... I'll see if I can locate it for you. Peckish, love your design.

If you wanted to design your own pattern, I think there are many stained glass mission style patterns that could be adapted. I have 3 stained glass panels I made that one day I plan to recreate for a wall hanging perhaps using some batiks to copy the colors in the glass patterns

Jane Hardy Miller has written several books about French braid quilts, you might check your library.
That's so pretty..

I'm not a masochist which I do believe you'd have to be in order to do a Frank Lloyd Wright quilt. Peckish has the right idea, the French Braid done in the right colors could easily look like the master.

This was the only other thread I could find that talked about FLW-inspired quilts.
