Sometimes folks forget that there is a difference between pressing and ironing:

Pressing is placing the iron on the seam or fabric and HOLDING. If using steam, press the button at this time while still HOLDING the iron in place, but only for a couple of seconds. LIFT the iron and move to next spot.

Ironing is sliding the iron back and forth up and down over fabric. Ironing is where your smaller fabric pieces can get missaligned and misshapen.

press do not iron! and use starch

When using so much starch does it clog up your machines? I have only just discovered the starch thingy!
