A lot of the time I let the fabric tell me which way it wants to go. It also depends on my mood.

I press to the dark side, too. Been experimenting with my minis--When sewing 1 inch pieces I grad the seam allowance. Really reduces bulk in the small space :lol:

I press to the side and usually towards the darker color. And like tlrnhi I back stitch alittle to hold.
