I have also made one similar to this but used 3 colors sewn into strips and the 60 degree ruler. One thing to remember is you only piece a half block at a time joining into a row. Repeat sewing the rows together so you have all straight seams the same as OBW's are put together. The one I did is scrappy and they are a lot of fun to make.

thanks for the link... i think the products on that page change often, though, as i don't see it there today. i searched their quilt patterns and didn't find it there either.

i like this method because there are no seams in the center hexagon. i think it's a little more work than the strip cut method, though. thanks for the link to the fons and porter video.
