It would be cool to have this one since it's black and would match the machine but not for that price! It ended but did it sell? wow...

ETA: I just looked and it did sell at $385. must be a great foot... or someone just wanted all the authentic parts..
You can - I got a low shank walking foot on ebay for $25 and it works well on my Featherweights

Here is another one...even higher price...does include free shipping though...guess I won't be getting one for my machine unless I happen upon one at a rummage sale sometime at a steal of a price.

The "Penguins" are rare...and yep...this one was a bargin. I've seen them sell for $500 to $600....if I had that kind of money to spend, this one would have sold higher.

Lesley, what brand is the walking foot you got?

one of the ladies had posted a site where they wanted $595.00 US money. Yes you read it right. I guess if we ever find one in an old lady's stuff when she dies we better insure it.

I saw one sell for over $900 a couple or three years ago.

$385 seems downright bargain basement by comparison!
