I find that I like my mens work gloves with the rubber dots on them that I got at the dollar store more than the F & P gloves (which stretched out and have no memory)
The dollar store gloves breath nicely. At first I was concerned becuase the rubber dots are black but I tested and have been using them for months.

At the end of the day....any rubberized glove will work. and is soooo necessary

I use Fons and Porter Quilting Gloves from JoAnne's. They work sooo well

I don't remember the brand I use, but I have more control if I do. Mine are white stretchy gloves from a local quilt shop.

I like Machingers Quilting Gloves, Fons and Porter is great too. I usually can find F&P glovest at hobbylobby reasonable. I always cut the tips out of the gloves so I can still use my fingers to rethread needle and such. The dollar tree has light weight gardening gloves that doesn't work too bad either for a dollar.

I love them and would not be without them.

i love them for free motion quilting, it helps you keep a grip on the fabric since you are moving it around rather quickly. I dont use them when i am using a walking foot . With the feed dogs ups the machine is regulating the material.

I used to use Machingers gloves but got tired of having to take them on and off for every little thing. Now I use the bands from Steady Betty. They leave your fingers free and like that much better.

Yes, yes and yes again. I have the Fons and Porter and also the "dollar store" variety of garden gloves. Both work well. :-D

Yes.

Yes, anything with the little grippers on the palms. I have used gardeners gloves that I bought for a dollar a pair on sale! The Fons and Porters are great, but I think they all work much the same.
