I use those blue noodles to keep my couch cushions in place. Works great.

I cut off a piece of pool noodle and slipped it over my knee-controlled presser foot lifter...makes it more accessible.

Fantastic idea. Even sometimes with the sewing machine against the wall there is that dip that needs to be filled. i am going to look for a noodle. :)

I think I'll pick up a couple of new noodles now, they are probably on sale and will be hard to find come winter.
I love reading all the suggestions on this board, you learn so many tricks that make your life easier.
