$1 Later - Problem Solved
1 Attachment(s)
My sewing cabinet couldn't fit flush to the wall. I was forever retrieving fabric and pattern pieces that would slip through the crack behind the cabinet -- not an easy feat. I found the blue noodle on summer clearance and it is wonderful! Just wanted to share!

Great idea. I have a similar problem with stuff falling off the back of my sewing table. I use a 6 foot folding table for my serger and sewing machine. Behind the machines I have little containers for pens, scissors and one of those nesting paper holders stacked 3 high. Things seem to fall all the time into the windows and floor. I have to crawl under the table to get everything. I'm going to get a piece of corner molding at Home Depot and glue or nail it to the back edge of the table. The molding is about 1/2" deep. Maybe this will help someone.

Thanks for the great hint. This will resolve my problem too.

I use the noodles to roll quilt tops on, keeps the wrinkles out and no creases. I also slip two extra long ones on each side of a twin bed under the fitted sheet for when my young nephew spends the night. Keeps him from moving off the bed in his sleep. I covered one extra long one in fabric to put between my bed headboard and mattress, there was a gap there. Noodles are great to have around.

When I have to iron yardage I roll it on a noodle to stop it getting creased.

I have this issue with my cutting table. Who knows how many little pieces of fabric are behind that thing. That's a simple, yet really clever idea!
|
Great idea!

If you cut through the noodle lengthwise, it will slide onto the edge of your sewing table and won't ever fall to the floor.
