You hit Gold, I love scraps, sorting them out. Take some photos.

WOW, 15 pounds. You'll be busy.

Just have fun and let your creativity go wild!

Check out "Quilts for Kids" -- great easy patterns for charity quilts and also -- they will be grateful if you would like to make some for them!

There was a post here yesterday named:
"Finished "Crumb" Blocks Quilt" and it used scraps. It was beautiful. That would be a great way to use your scraps. It is quick/easy and would go together in no time. When you finish with 15 pounds of scraps and give the quilts away, you will make many people happy, that's for sure. |
What about a scrappy quilt quick and easy to do.

Sewn into squares, you could make some awesome prairie points with them too!!! What an fabulous gift you have been given!
Here is a tutorial on prairie points, just in case: http://quilting.about.com/od/quiltpa...rie_points.htm |
Talk about being at the right place at the right time!
Lucky you! |
I love this idea from a blog I ran across for a quilt called Bottled Rainbows:
http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/...w-to-make.html I would love to make one of these quilts but I don't have near enough scraps. Now I'm collecting them though, it will go on to-do list. It's QAYG which I also want to try. Have fun! |
