I got this info from another QB person. Other than your stash, you do need to buy fusible Pellon fleece. I can get more out of the yardage than they suggest because of a little pre-planning on cutting it. I just watch for sales. Then you mail the finished bags back. They will send you the pattern and material for one bag to begin with along with an extra emblem if you want to do another one. I had 15 emblems sent to me a few weeks ago. My church group makes baby through adult quilts for Salvation Army from donated supplies. Sometimes rural fire departments want quilts to hand out to people. I also finish baby tops that are donated to various social agencies and/or hospitals. So just ask around. I hope this gives you some ideas. Connie |

I want to machine quilt like Linda Taylor!

To stop making small quilts for everyone & get back to just the quilts I want to make for my children (6) & Grandchildren (8.5) the .5 is due any day. And try to stop complaining about my bad back post 6 surgeries :( That's going to be hard. Oh and keep on saving for a good quilting machine, my dream machine Janome 6600 or at least 6500.

To do more piecing of tops and try to finish the ones I started, oh yeah, and not to work as much!

Finish the quilt I'm working on, then the one I'm buying fabric for. After that I still have a lot of learning to do and would also like to do at least 1 charity quilt.

To complete the projects for family gifts I've committed to make them, to use quilting as a way to help me lose the weight I know will make me healthier ( my struggle is evening snacking- when I'm sewing I'm not as tempted to do this- Dr says get rid of 30 lb to avoid the Diabetes lurking in my gene pool...), to practice, practice to improve my FMQ skills, and at least watch and listen to the Craftsy classes I have to learn from even if I'm not doing the projects they're covering at the time. :-)

My resolution is to "JUST SAY NO" to other than family that wants some kind of sewing or machine embroidery done. I have UFO's and many quilt kits put together and four children awaiting their first quilt (so am I). Been quilting for many years; have accumulated way too much fabric I couldn't live without, and still don't own a quilt for myself. 2014 garden season will have less canning to do also!!!

That was my resolution until I got a gift card for Amazon and in my wish list were a number of quilt books!
