If this was my quilt, I'd put a narrow border next to the binding in the gold, or a flange or piping, then do green binding. That little bit of gold will draw your eye out to the edge tieing in the gold sashing and other gold patches in the blocks.

I like the gold border on the outside. Go for it!

Yes, add the gold, stunning !

I vote for the gold border too!

Maybe a white border to enlarge it and open up the quilt. It is a gorgeous quilt, love the patterns and colors.

Personally, I would just leave as is with the green border and bind in gold. For me leaving that way it draws your attention to the center of the quilt. When you add the gold border, it draws you away from the center of the quilt, and the center of the quilt is beautiful..JMHO....

I also like the gold border ,realy a lovely quilt. You did good.

I agree

Well, when I first looked at it, my eye was drawn to the center, with just the green border, but when I saw it with the gold, it drew me to the gold border more than to the center. I think I would have to look at it a few times too. I think I might like it with just the green border and then maybe binding it in the gold.

I thought the gold border was too bold, too overwheming, too much gold in the quilt. If you used it as binding instead, I think it would tone down all the gold. BTW I love your quilt. Very pretty.
