3 stitches later
I could never understand how some of you gals cut yourself with a rotary cutter, 3 stitches later I've joined the club and understand perfectly lol

Sorry! I managed to miss joining the club. My daughter is a member.

I super glued the very side tip of my finger back. Had busy day at salon and no time for stitches. Did it right before going out the door. First time using a new rotary cutter with a very new and very sharp blade. That was last time. Luckily no new fabric was damaged in the accident. Was a scrap piece that I really didn't like. Pitched it in the trash.

Ouch! 3 stitches is a good sized slice! I gave myself a manicure once and that was close enough.
|
I always wear my Fons & Porter klutz glove, because yeah, I'm a total klutz. Unfortunately, I like to wear sandals around the house so still have to be careful not to drop the darn thing on my toes! So sorry this happened to you.

I'm a member of that club. Cut should have been stitched but I was a coward. Have a bumpy scar.

I have quilted for almost 30 years and I do have a klutz glove while also downsizing to the smaller Olfa cutter. I am not a member and hope I don't join your club !! I don't drive and I would hate the cost of calling the fire department. Might just have to walk up the hill to the fire station !!

Try the Klutz glove; it pays for itself with the first trip to the ER!
|
Maniac, if it's bad and won't stop bleeding, call a cab. The firemen won't be able to stitch it up. You'll need the ER for that. Have the cabby take you while you hold pressure. Remember ladies and gentlemen to never take away bandages while trying to stop the bleeding, but to keep adding layers if the blood seeps through the bandage.
