Are you asking how to attach them? If so, I found 3 sets of instructions that included how to attach them together. Hope this helps.

Sorry no help as to the procedure, but I can make you feel better about the fact that it is 7 yrs old. I am about to start quilting one of mine that has been waiting for 8 years.

flip top and back over and trim batting
sew front seams together
pat batting back in place, and sew the back seam by hand.

This is the method I learned too for quilt as you go
