Sorry but it looks like someone cut up a block all wrong. Don't like it at all.

I didn't like the first one at all, but I kind of like the Greek key secondary design of the second one.

I think it's kind of cute for a small quilt, but you have to realize that when the blocks are sewn together, you will lose all the points of the squares in the edges.

I have seen a 16 patch cut up on the diagonal, and that's what happened to that, also. The poster just said that's what is supposed to happen.

Excuse me, but I am from the old school...what exactly is a drip?

LindaR 01-03-2014 06:52 AM

it has the secondary pattern in the middle like it

Have you tried putting the squares together so the center is all yellow where they meet ? Maybe just a different look to try?

pocoellie 01-03-2014 07:25 AM

I like it, but if YOU don't like it, then I would go another way.

I like the greens and yellow for a baby quilt but I do not care for the way it looks in the blues even though I like the blue fabrics. Go with your heart. If you aren't happy you won't enjoy making the quilt. Good luck.

I think it would make a cute and very interesting baby quilt.

I like the green/purple/gold. the fabrics have matching designs so it doens't look at all haphazard. The blue is pretty, but I think the first is my favorite
