I live in Springfield also. Gives us so much to choose from.

I have only 1 quilt shop and a JoAnns to go to. I envy you having all those options :)

One QS is 50 min. away, another is an hour and Joanns is 45 min. But I don't let that stop me!!

You are in quilt shop heaven LOL! there is 1 by me about 20 minutes away. Only thing around here is Joann Fabric's and they seem to be going down hill when it comes to customer service.

Dolphyngyrl 01-18-2011 03:24 PM

I have about 3 shops within 30 miles, and a large joann's within a few miles

1 quilt shop 10 miles north, 1 quilt shop 10 miles south, 15 miles to Walmart, 20 miles to JoAnns and Hobby Lobby.

Hi Michele. What shop are you going to in Berlin? Zinks, Millers in Charm or all the quilt shops in the center of Berlin? Have you ever gone to a smaller quilt shop (dry good store)in the Holmes county? Did you ever go to Country Fabrics in Shiloh, Ohio. Fantastic fabric store and more.

I'm pretty spoiled:

4 Jo-Anns

At least 1 Hobby Lobby

At least 10 LQS's

And that is just on my side of the valley. There are a load more on the north and west sides.

I have one that is 10 minute drive, another 15 minutes. The Hayloft fabric store in Lancaster CO. is about a 20 minute drive. They have an online store, so I can see what they have before I go. Their Moda is $6.75 - $7.20. Sauder's in Lancaster Co. is about 30 minutes away. I'm lucky.
