I'm looking for a 4.5 inch square die for the Accu Quilt Go. I had seen one the other evening on Amazon and when I wanted to order it today and now they don't seem to have one listed. Does anyone out there have one they would be willing to sell or know where I can locate one. I've also checked E-Bay and nothing there either.

Thank-you
Judy

I think I saw one at Joanns the other day when I was in there. . .

jpmaroni 08-02-2011 01:22 PM

Do you use your Accu Quilt Dies alot?

auntpiggylpn 08-02-2011 01:23 PM

Or maybe it is just on the value die that comes with the machine. I have an extra one I think... Let me know if you are interested

There is a 4 3/4 square die that can be set on point. I have one of those too if interested.

Thanks for offering, but I really want the 4.5 square die that cuts about 4 of them at a time - I want it to make prairie points to finish off the quilt i'm working on.

It was one of the "Die to Try" dies. They must have sold them out. These are the ones that they put out to see what would be big sellers and should be included in their line. Good luck finding one!!! Like I said, there is a 4 1/2" square on the value die that comes with the machine. If you don't have one of those, I have an extra if you need it.

I love using my Accu Quilt go. I only have just a couple of dies, the 2.5 strip cutter which I recently used for the quilt i'm working on and it sure did save lots of time.

Do they make one? I checked the accuquilt sight and they dont have one? I know it is included on the value die that comes with the machine and I have an extra one of those

Yes, I found one the other night on Amazon, but didn't order it then and was going to order it today and of course now it's not listed. I did talk with a operator at Accu Quilt and she stated there was one as part of their new to try promotion which has ended.

sassyg 08-02-2011 02:17 PM

The 4 1/2 die is only the on the value pack that comes with the accuquilt cutter, however if you go accuquilt.com you can purchase the value pack die on sale for 23.99

carolaug 08-02-2011 02:35 PM

I use mine all the time...love them...

I do have that one, but really want one of the others.

JoanneS 08-02-2011 02:40 PM

I think you can still order one from the Accuquilt site.
Edit: I had not read all the replies - sorry to hear they've ended the promotion. If they sold out the 4 1/2, I imagine they'll make it a regular part of their inventory. That was the point of the promotion.

hobbykat1955 08-02-2011 04:15 PM

If you go into their Website AccuQuilt.com the sell their own dies...

That is good to hear and I do hope they would make it a part of their inventory really soon.

I just went to their site and only found the 4 3/4 inch die. The one I'm looking for is the 4 1/2 inch die that cuts I think 4 squares at once.

jazzy519 08-03-2011 03:42 AM

I love mine I use it all the time.

psychonurse 08-03-2011 03:47 AM

I wanted to order the cutter and value die, and 2 other dies, but the LQS gave me prices and each thing I wanted had to have a separate mat. Is this the norm?
I thought I really wnated one but now I am not so sure of investing in this pricey thing.
Please advise.

maryellis 08-03-2011 03:53 AM

go to accu quilt.com or Joann fabric

I know its seems high price. But I love how quick you can cut a quilt out in no time and they are perfectly cut. We have a group of women who meet twice a week and we bought one and shared it we all buy different dies So now we have about 40 dies. You might think about sharing to cut down on cost.

quiltymom 08-03-2011 04:32 AM

I use mine ALL the time!!!! Chech out RitzCamera.com go to scrap booking then top left for accuquilt. The dies are much cheaper and there very fast.Had mine in 2 days!!!

Ozarkcastle 08-03-2011 04:56 AM

Check Accuquilt.com site. That is where I bought mine. It was under the "try it" area when I bought it couple months ago. Those are dies that if it sells they will release to retailers. They change the "try it" section often so not sure if it's still there. The 4 1/2" is 4 cuts to a plate/die.

ncredbird 08-03-2011 05:49 AM

There is a Yahoo group for the purchase of dies for the
Accuquilt and Sizzix machines. There is a 30% savings to purchase any of the dies. I am a member and have been very happy with my purchases and with the moderator/seller who runs it. (No affiliation other than member and happy customer)

What is the name of the group?

ncredbird 08-03-2011 06:02 AM

Sorry, I thought I had put that in. It is pinsandneedles1. Must have deleted it when I attempted to post the Yahoo group website address. Apparently we can't do that here as it was referred to administration when I first attempted to post and I changed it.

pflum1 08-03-2011 06:10 AM

JoAnn's had the accuquilt "Go" dies for 25% off. Also, if you google you will find sales all the time and they may be cheaper than those on ebay.
I use mine a lot and have lots of the dies. I wish I had a 4" circle, but so far, haven't found one. The circle dies have 2, 3, & 5, but I usually I need a 4". I haven't used the flowers that much, but have used the 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 strip the most.

Go to the database. It is one of the new dies and she is taking orders. You mark which die you want in the database. So look again, you will be glad you did. I have ordered several things from this site and have been pleased.

quiltymom 08-03-2011 06:44 AM

I just went to the site did a seach and they don't have 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 square!!!

Geri B 08-03-2011 06:53 AM

there is a yahoo group pinsandneedles1...the moderator of that group is also a dealer and has great prices. I just ordered the new multi 4 1/2" die from her. You have to join the group first, then go to their database...it and many others are there!!!!! The die to try and the super new releases!!! Might also try a site called ihaveanotion

I just did as well. It was under the try it section when I bought it couple months ago. That section for new dies they are considering for retail sales. Guess they removed it.

quiltymom 08-03-2011 07:22 AM

I just contacted Accuquilt and talked to an agent the only way they have the die you want is in the starter one.Her name is Constance Faust. So good luck!!!

kmpsewing 08-03-2011 08:26 AM

If you join the Kathy's yahoo group (pinsandneedles1u group) she is selling this die on her group members..

patski 08-03-2011 08:30 AM

I love my dies but sorry I don't have that one, you can check the accuquilt sight to see if that size is there, all of the shapes and sizes are listed

intoquilting 08-03-2011 10:57 AM

Did you find the site and get the information you were looking for?
