Its o.k to vent about not having a longarm, but just look at the beautiful quilting you do without one.

I do not have one either.

I hand quilt.

I have done 2 kings, 6 queens,
2 fulls, 1 single, and a
crib sized wall hanging.

I don't have a machine for quilting. I bought a Singer at Costco for $89 and have been using that.
My BFF is coming out in October and we are going machine testing-YEAH!!

While it does seem as if 'everyone' has a long arm and they just flit and fly through quilts with amazingly beautiful completed quilts which causes envy and inspiration, well . . absolutely you are not alone.

i don't have one and would have to either empty my bedroom or living room or build another room to house one.

many many fabulous- famous - spectacular international award winning quilters quilt on a domestic machine (the same machine they piece with)

there are tons of tutorials, videos and classes available to help you learn to free motion quilt with your domestic machine.

the first quilt i ever quilted was an $89 brother i bought at walmart- took a class at the lqs and did quite well.

it does not take anything special- just the desire and lots of practice.

I SO TOTALLY agree! I quilt all my quilts on a 1937 Singer!

I don't have one and don't want one. I send all quilts out to be quilted if I feel they are worth it for the fun is in the piecing, I don't like any hand work, even binding, though I do that.

I don't have one either, so don't feel alone! And I moved away from my BFF who did all my quilting ... she's way up in Missouri ... I miss you Bettie!

Nope, don't have one either. I can get a whole lot of quilts done by someone else, for the same amount of money I would have to spend to buy one.

I Don't have one either. Like you, no space. Almost purchased one, then looked around and would have to empty my bed room or living room. Just no room anywhere. :-(
