Nope - not me. Don't want one.

I don't have on either. I'll bet your quilts are all beautiful.

I don't have one, I do mine by hand & you are right it does take forever but I love the outcome. I have had one done by a laq and she did a beautiful job but they are not as soft and cuddlie as had quilted ones. Some people love them and there is nothing wrong with that, I just prefer hand quilting them.

I too, WANT a quilting machine but space is a problem and my husband is not willing to give up his garage! LOL I send my large quilts to a quilter and quilt smaller things on my Bernina which works fine I guess.

I dont have one either and living in a 2 bedroom mobile home will never have the space for one. I stick with wall size quilts up to 36" square.

Thanks.

Call me old fashioned .... but you OWN every step of the way of your quilts, especially your handwork. Hold your head high. You are an artisan.

No room, money or desire for a long arm. I do everything on my Kenmore and while it's not always easy, it gets the job done and I've had no complaints about the quilts I've given away. I am taking a class on FMQ in October and am looking forward to learning how to do this.

Edited to say the class is in November, not October. Currently, I just stitch straight lines.

Well, you are definitively not alone! I wanted one several years ago, not so much anymore. I will do what I can do on my own little machine and if I ever get a quilt half as breath-taking as some of the ones I have seen on this board, I will then consider sending it out! Maybe...or maybe I will have finally conquered FMQ!!!
