Funny you say that, here is what I found yesterday when surfing different blogs

Is that not an amazing way to quilt???

I also don't have a quilting machine and also do all hand quilting which I really like much better than done on a machine. You are right when you say it takes a lot longer to finish a quilt, but well worth it. When they are done on a machine they look like they came out of a factory where hand done is quality at it's best.

Don't have one either. Do my best with my Brother! It's not always easy and I end up ripping out stitches, but it gets the job done.

Wish I had something with more room when I try to squish my quilt in so I can sew. Maybe someday!

Not true! Have you seen some of the work on the board????
I hand quilt also but some of the work I've seen is spectacular- beauty comes in many forms :)

You are not alone, no long arm machine here and not getting one either.

You are not alone. I don't have one either and probably couldn't do it if I did. I am not very mechinical!

I don't have a long arm, but will have one in the future. I do have a quilting frame and I use my old riccar sewing machine on it and that works for me...for now. Just cuts down on the time of quilting it.

I don't have one either!

Heavens NO - you're not the only one. Many of us do not have one & actually for some of us it is by choice.

All I've ever done is hand quilting & even if I had room for a machine, I would still choose to hand quilt. To me it is very comforting & I REALLY enjoy it.

I respect & appreciate all the machine quilted works of art, but as the ole lady said "everyone to their own taste, as she kissed the cow" ;-)

It's just a personal choice. If that's what you'd like to do, I hope someday you are in a position to have one.

Have a blessed day & may all your quilts be filled w/love.

Thanks.

YOU are not alone. A quilting machine will never be in my future, as Iam retired and don't have the room. You can always fmq on smaller blocks on any home sewing machine and then use several means to join them. Check out some of the tutuorials and posts on you tube. Have a good quilting day! :-D
