I had 2 Rowneta's and I would never buy another. They didn't last long.
I use an $11.99 iron from Target. It does what I need it to do and I do all my DH shirts and pants. |
Have had two rowenta's and both leaked. I would just purchase a cheap one and us it until it dies. For a cheap price you can afford to replace a little more often. Kim

I bought my Rowenta at JoAnns a few weeks ago, not with a coupon, but they had 'selected irons' 50% off and got a great one, after returning one that was less than 50% off and a 'lemon' .

I find their coupons are usually for 40% offfull price items only. This is when most of the items in the store are "on sale". I also think if you shop around a little you can really beat theirrices. Just an opinion

Several years ago I rec'd a Rowenta, and felt it was too much of an iron for me -heavy. Went to Walgreens and bought one for $10.00==still in use.

I bought a Rowenta on sale at JoAnn's a few years ago. I hate it! It leaks, doesn't do well on dry, and keeps turning off even after just a few minutes. I'm looking for a more reliable iron for a reasonable price. Any suggestions?

Hancock Fabrics also accepts competitor's coupons. This is not publicized, but it is true! Might want to try there. Hancock's ad has 40% off non-sale items, up to $49.99.

I bought some old travel irons at the Goodwill years ago and they are the best. They are small and heavy. When I was cleaning out and getting rid of excess, I got rid of two of them and I could kick myself now.
I will start hunting for them again. They never go bad. I have already thrown out three irons this last year, name brand but not rowenta. I only pay about 18.00 for an iron, they do the job. |
