I got my really nice iron at Kohls Dept Store. They carry good brands and have great sales if you watch for them.

I am an avid iron user and I have been through about 4 rowenta irons in the last 4 years. they either burnt out or leaked. wont ever buy one again. last one i bought was a a cheaper one and it is nice. wouldnt waste your money on that brand. they dont seem to want to fix their problems.

I got a nice iron at Lowe's on black friday for $6.00 and I love it. Produces great steam and works like a gem.

Consider going to Walmart or Target - buy a Black & Decker or some other brand - Rowenta's are expensive and not worth the money.

Joann's coupons can't be used on anything by Fons & Porter.
I assume they won't let them discount their items.

I am sorry the ad says 50% off all quilting notions ,excludes Fons & Porter. I don't know if you can use coupons or not, but I think I remember them telling me no on a ruler I was trying to buy that was made by Fons & Porter.

Yay, it wasn't, BUT, in the fine print, irons are excluded from using the coupon. I thought for sure someone here on the board had said they bought an iron using a coupon. Is there a chance that a coupon will come available sometime that will allow me to use it for an iron, or are all their coupons basically the same? Thanks for your help.

I don't know about coupons from Joanns, we don't have one near me, but I rec.'d an email from Nancy's Notions today and she has several irons on sale. I don't need one, so I didn't look.I haven't deleted the email, if you're interested, pm me and I will check the prices for you and send you the email. Gerbie
