I just love this quilt. I can't wait to find the pattern and make one.

This is one of those times that the saying that goes...Its not that you make a mistake its how you fix it!! I am impressed with the fix... Beautiful quilt!!
It looks beautiful I cannot see any error. No hand made quilt is "perfect". You did a great job. Enjoy
So beautiful!! I do not see anything!!
A blind man running for his life will never notice, quit looking at it. Some cultures make a mistake on purpose to prove they aren't perfect like the Lord, only he is perfect.

I thinks its beautifal. You did a wonderful job on it. I can't see the mistake either.

It looks perfect! I would be proud if I had made it. Diane C.

I don't see the mistake, it's a beautiful quilt!!!!! ;-)
Where did you get the pattern? |
You made a Beautiful quilt with fabulous fabrics. Quit beating yourself up over it. You did an even better job of fixing the "mistake" than most of could ever do. If you're not happy with this quilt, send it my way. I'd be honored to own this quilt! Do you want my addy??? I'm just saying!
WOW, beautiful quilt and I don't see the mistake either.
I'm with almost every one else. I just don't see it. Go with the quilt and say, job, well done!!!
It's beautiful! Are you sure you're new and not teasing us? It's very well done and I don't see any mistakes. However, we always see our own and we are our hardest critics.
I dont see it.
this looks great what mistake???
No Quilt Police here. You did a beautiful job and lucky you, have a good friend to help you.
This is a beautiful quilt. I couldn't see it until you showed the close up. I know a quilter who intentionally does things like cut a strip in two pieces and finds a compatable fabric and adds it to the strip before she finishes the block. She says it gives it an old fashioned look and I agree. I think it gives your quilt character. I love it. Great job.
I can't see it, and the quilt is beautiful.
I am a rookie too and believe me I would love to be able to turn out a quilt like yours. I honestly can't see what's wrong at all

You did a great ajob of covering up the mistake. I think we all have a few fixes like that now and then.
All I see is a wonderful quilt.

Your quilt is beautiful and like the others, I don't see any errors. I wouldn't rip it out. Just enjoy it.

I must be blind. Where is the problem? I love your layout. Have never seen it done that way. Log cabins are so versatile. Keep up the good work and don't be so critical of yourself. Marge |
I am so glad to hear that BallyBoo. I have only been quilting for two years and have had to fix mistakes. now I don;t feel so bad about it.

ok i cant see the mistake !!!! it looks great to me
If you say it is not noticeable, I shouldn't worry and get stuck into the next one.
I reread your post several times and studied the picture and still could not find your error. Don't worry about it.

I think you are going to be one of those obessive-compulsive quilters that picks her own, beautiful and amazing, quilts to bits because of the things you can see that others (even experienced quilters) can't and wouldn't see. I absolutely cannot see what you are trying to tell us is a mistake! I looked at that quilt for 10 minutes, too! Finish the quilt and enjoy it. You did an awesome job, especially seeing that this is one of your first quilts.
I think if it was not pointed out- I would never have seen it. Nothing to worry about in my book.

It is beautiful.

Your quilt is gorgeous ... love the colors of the fabric. I didn't see the problem.
