Ouch!!!!! How painful!!!

I have only done it through the outside of my finger -- I was using the zipper foot to sew on cording and... oh well I did learn.

Been there, done that - more than once over the years. So I feel your pain.

Been there, done that! Needle broke and lucky me the tip of the needle was still threaded. My sister had to have the needle cut to get it out of her finger. Oh, that sends shivers thru me.

Hasn't happened to me, but it did happen to my friend Cindi. She was in a precarious position - couldn't get her finger out from under the needle, couldn't reach the power button or cord (it was a longarm on a frame) and her husband was in a different part of the house and too far away to hear her screaming for him. I don't know how long she had to wait and yell for him before he finally rescued her.

My son did it when he was about 4. Get this the machine was not even plugged in. Not a clue how he did it.

Many years ago I sewed my finger with a couple of stitches. I worked nites as an RN and was trying to get in a little sewing after shift. THAT woke me up!
